Welcome to the State Excise Organization, Government of Tripura. Excise Organization is one of the major revenue earning departments for the Government of Tripura. The operations of the Organization centre around the enforcement of regulations relating to the manufacture, production, possession, distribution, transport, supply, selling and buying of liquor and other intoxicants. The Organizationstrives to achieve the twin needs of preventing the manufacture, supply and distribution of illicit/counterfeit/spurious liquor and/or non-duty paid intoxicants and attaining the full realizable revenue potential of the State since prohibition is not a viable option.
The Commissionerate of Excise is located at 3rd Floor, Khadya Bhavan P.N complex, Gurkhabasti, Agartala Tripura West, Tripura-799006.
The Collectorates are located at 8 District Headquarters.
